Product Description If you are looking for an lemon soda with that unique European flavor profile, look no further than San Pellegrino?s juice-laden sparklers, Limonata. (That?s lemon.) Each serving contains 12 % real fruit. Already popular in Europe, importers expect that thirsty Americans will soon be drinking these delicious new beverages up, too!

Wonderful, refreshing beverage June 23, 2008 This product is not a 7-Up or Sprite. It is something far superior, and export from sunny Italy. It is a soda containing the famous waters of San Pellegrino, flavored with ripe European citrus, combined in a refreshing, tangy, wonderfully tart beverage.
Do these sodas sound delicious? They certainly are!
I grew up on the regular American sodas: Coke, Pepsi, any kind of root beer, and of course, the many citrus flavors, such as Sprite and 7-Up. Little did I know that there was something far better across the Atlantic Ocean - in Italy. The waters of San Pellegrino have been enjoyed for decades by many. In fact, we used to drink their sparkling water quite often. However, I never knew that they produced soft drinks of such exquisite quality.
These sodas are certainly not your average American soda, but I like them far better. Why? They aren't just sugar and artificial colors/flavors. They have a real tang to them, they're quite tart, but refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. They also have quite a bit of real juice. I have also been led to believe that the lemons used here are different from the regular lemon at the store. Perhaps that would explain this beverage's wonderfully exotic, lemony taste.
For any gourmand of soft drinks, I would wholeheartedly recommend these fine Italian sodas. You may not like the tartness and tanginess of these sodas at first, but I assure you, you will come to enjoy them as much as I do. Also recommended is the "Aranciata" (Orange) soda available from San Pellegrino, which is just as good.
Awesome! February 12, 2008 I love these people for selling this drink. ^_^ It's actually a very good price to pay compared with any other carbonated juice drinks out there. I would by a whole crate full if I could.
Delicious Lemony Beverage December 22, 2005 3 out of 3 found this comment useful.
When you compare the zesty Limonata Sparkling Lemon Beverage to other sparkly lemon beverages, you begin to realize the sheer perfection of the Limonata beverage by San Pellegrino. The balance of lemon, sparkle and zest takes this drink to the level of a gourmet beverage, which requires no mixing.
San Pellegrino is also made with mineral water found near the town of San Pellegrino Terme which is located 70 kilometers northeast of Milan. The water flows from a thermal spring at the foot of a Dolomite mountain wall. The use of this water definitely adds to the energy this drink seems to possess. The carbonation seems more sophisticated and delicate. The only way to describe it is to say these waters are the champagne of sparkling waters.

The best Soda ever January 9, 2005 6 out of 6 found this comment useful.
My absolute favorite carbonated non-alcoholic beverage. Not over-processed or pumped full of sugar Perfect amount of carbonation and very refreshing, great with meals or by itself. Too bad it's so hard to find in stores.
